HyperProbe Consortium Meets in Vienna to Review Third-Year Progress

The HyperProbe Consortium gathered in Vienna on 8–9 September 2025 for its annual meeting, hosted by the European Institute for Biomedical Imaging Research (EIBIR). The two-day meeting marked the conclusion of the project’s third year since its launch on 1 October 2022 and provided an important opportunity to review achievements, exchange insights, and plan the next steps.

The meeting opened with a welcome lunch followed by remarks from Project Coordinator Francesco Pavone. Work Package leaders then presented updates on their activities, highlighting progress, ongoing developments, and the challenges anticipated for the next phases of the project.

On the second day, the consortium held a dedicated 1.5-hour session with the HyperProbe External Advisory Board, during which the main results from the past year were presented. The Board’s feedback sparked insightful discussions on AI and machine-learning approaches, ethical considerations, and opportunities for future collaboration. Their recommendations will help guide the project as it moves toward upcoming milestones.

The day continued with cross-cutting technical discussions and preparations for the workshop planned for next year. Each Work Package left the meeting with a clear understanding of next steps and priorities.

A warm thank-you goes to EIBIR for hosting the consortium in Vienna.
The HyperProbe team looks forward to convening again in person in 2026.
