European Conferences on Biomedical Optics (ECBO)
📍 Munich, Germany | 🗓️ June 22–26, 2025
HyperProbe was proud to see several consortium partners and collaborators actively contribute to the scientific program at ECBO 2025, Europe’s premier event in biomedical optics.
Researchers connected to HyperProbe presented and co-authored cutting-edge work spanning glioma resection, hyperspectral imaging, brain mapping, and spectroscopy. Their contributions highlighted the strong translational momentum driving our shared mission.
These presentations underscored the growing impact of optical and imaging-based methods in neurosurgery, diagnostics, and intraoperative guidance — areas where many HyperProbe partners are leading contributors.
Over the course of ECBO 2025, HyperProbe partners delivered more than 15 scientific presentations covering key innovations, including fluorescence and hyperspectral spectroscopy for glioma, meningioma, and epilepsy surgery; RGB-based brain mapping and comparative imaging studies; optical phantom validation and in-vivo monitoring of placenta and liver function; as well as advanced simulation and cloud-based processing techniques for NIRS and Monte Carlo modeling.
Presenters came from across the consortium, including CREATIS (France), UCL (UK), Université de Lyon (France), and the University of Florence (Italy), reflecting the collaborative and interdisciplinary strength of the project.

A big thank you to all presenters, co-authors, and collaborators for showcasing the breadth of expertise across our extended research network.
